Crowns & Bridges

Some teeth are badly broken down due to decay or trauma. If untreated these teeth can become very painful. Using a crown or a bridge could prevent further damage.

What are crowns and bridges?

A crown is an artificial tooth which is attached to the remnants of a natural one. Teeth that are severely discoloured or out of position can also be improved by crowning.

If you have strong teeth either side of a gap our dentists are able to create a porcelain bridge that becomes a permanent fixture and brings a perfect, complete smile back to your face.

Both crowns and bridges are permanently fitted.

How does it work?

Crowns and bridges are crafted by our technicians who have many years’ experience in the art of dental ceramics. An initial appointment will determine the treatment that will work for you and once the crowns or bridges have been created we will fit them for you. Once fitted you will be able to smile and eat with the confidence of knowing that your teeth look great and are longer lasting.

With good oral hygiene, crowns and bridges can last a lifetime.

Your dentist will recommend when this treatment may be necessary so make sure you regularly book a healthy mouth check up with us, particularly if you have pain in your mouth.
