Biography

Barry Hunt qualified in 1977 having completed his dental training through the University of Sheffield at the Charles Clifford Dental Hospital, Sheffield, U.K.

Barry is married to his wife Marion and has two great sons and two wonderful daughters.

As well as having a penchant for all things classical and jazz, Barry is a keen amateur photographer and enjoys those rare days off, when he’s not doing admin, spent on the walking trails.

Barry has made something of a name for himself amongst our more nervous patients for his gentle yet thorough treatment style.

Three Top Tips

• If your gums bleed regularly, don’t mess about – come and see us. It might be important not just for the health of your mouth but for your general health as well.
• When you brush the teeth of a young child, sit or stand with the back of their head resting against your chest – it will be more comfortable for them, and easier for you!
• If you have a concern about the health or appearance of your teeth, don’t assume that it’s going to be complicated to sort out. Current developments mean that excellent results can be achieved more simply – and often at less cost. Come and ask!
